UNSHAKEN: Peace of mind you will get when you stop caring about what other people say to you...

Peace of mind you will get when you stop caring about what other people say to you, especially if it is intended to hurt and judge you.

I realized something lately—because of what happened.

No matter how kind or respectful you are,

there will always be people who’ll say bad things about you.

People who will try to ruin your name.

People who want to see you fall.

And the truth is… we can’t control them.

Whatever they think.

Whatever they say.

You don’t owe anyone an explanation.

You don’t need to prove your worth.

Let them believe what they want—

because sometimes, the words they throw

are simply reflections of who they are, not who you are.

Letting go of what we can’t control—

that’s when peace finally finds us.

I’m writing this because every time I hear something hurtful,

I pretend it doesn’t affect me.

But the truth? It hurts.

So much.

There was even a moment I cried…

to a classmate, because I couldn’t hold it in anymore.

That’s when I realized:

I’m human.

I feel.

I hurt.

And I don’t have to pretend to be okay when I’m not.

So in the future,

if this ever happens again,

I’ll come back to this entry—

to remind myself:

It’s okay to feel.

And it’s braver to heal than to hide.
